Ground Water Hydrology and Hydraulics Study
Ground water Hydrology and Hydraulics may be defined as the study of subsurface water including a consideration of its chemical and physical properties, geologic environment, natural movement, recovery and utilization.
The presence or absence of ground-water on site will have considerable effect on the design of a structure, on the work of construction and so on the overall cost. Where ground water is present specivic measures will have to be taken to ensure the stability of excavation and the work during construction.
